三十年了，為了一個沒說出口的承諾。

後來上了 Coursera 呂世浩老師的課程，知道了中國人是講層次的。


關於承諾，最下者的是白紙黑字的契約，訴諸法律的。再上者，是守住自己的口頭承諾。做到極致，可以出凡入聖的，就是信守自己對自己的承諾，即使你只是動心起念，沒有說出口。那是記在史記上的故事，季札掛劍。

季札之初使，北過徐君。徐君好季札劍，口弗敢言，季札心知之，為使上國，未獻。還至徐，徐君已死，於是乃解其寶劍，繫之徐君冢樹而去。從者曰:「徐君已死，尚 誰予乎?」季子曰:「不然。始吾心已許之，豈以死悖吾心哉!」 


春秋時代，有一次吳國的公子季札要出使晉國，他一路往北走，路經徐國的時候去拜見了徐君，徐君非常喜歡季札佩掛的寶劍，可是又不好意思說出口。季札看了，心裡也明白，然而，他還要出使到其他國家，不能不帶佩劍，所以沒有立刻獻上。

等到出使回來，季札又經過徐國時，徐君已死。於是他便解下寶劍，將寶劍掛在徐君 墓旁的樹枝上然後離開。他的隨從看到這情形，就跟季札說:「徐君已經死了，你還把劍掛在 樹上給誰呢?」季札回答:「話不能這樣說。當時在我心裡已答應將寶劍送他，怎麼可以因為 他已經死了，便違背我心裡對他的承諾呢!」 


When I said that I loved you I meant that I loved you forever.這是我心裡的承諾。
