全家去看了26日台南下午場的“貓音樂劇”。欣賞表演之前，買了DVD先看過一遍，先對表演內容有個底。
DVD 的表演者是千挑萬選出來的一時之秀，自然是無法超越的。但，臨場感是無可取代的震憾，演員和觀眾的互動，每個段落的掌聲，不在預期中的中文演唱，表演者跑到你身邊，你可以清楚聽到他是現場唱的。中場休息，在人群穿梭的貓群，是大家一致的歡欣。
台南的售票狀況，2F, 3F較便宜的票早就銷售一空（1200, 1800, 2800)。一樓高價區還有一些空位(3800, 4800, 5800)。剛開演，我們是坐在14排，中場休息後我們跑到4排沒人的位置上，演員的表情也都看得 很清楚。下半場開演前，旁邊又坐來一些人，本來也是想跟我們一樣換好一點座位的觀眾。表演完，才發現是台南市長許添財夫婦！
當然大家最喜歡的還是 Memory 這首了。其實 memory 唱了兩遍，歌詞是有些許的不同的。我們看看全本的 memory。

(98) Andrew Lloyd Webber - Memory
上班的時候，我加入了愛樂社。沒想到，老來，學了大提琴。2007年的公司10週年慶，我們表演的就是這首 Memory。

位於紐約的百老匯(Broadway)是全球音樂劇的重鎮，多少劇作家在此一炮而紅，多少幕後投資人在此血本無歸。籌備經年但票房不佳的新戲可能在幾天之後消失無蹤，受歡迎的劇碼則可以一演再演，盛況持續十餘年而不輟。其中，安德魯洛伊韋伯於1981年推出的作品「貓」，時至今日，已經打破「歌舞線上」的紀錄，成為百老匯有史以來上演最長的音樂劇。Memory就是「貓」劇中的一首歌曲，也是被流行音樂界翻唱最多次的百老匯名曲。
「貓」這齣劇的靈感是取材自詩人艾略特的作品，全劇沒有故事主線，藉由一群街頭野貓的午夜嬉鬧聚會，用擬人化的方式，刻劃了快樂、悲傷、失望、盼望……等等情緒。音樂風格上用搖滾、爵士、歌劇……不同節奏、情調來傳達每隻貓兒們不同的性格，是一齣老少咸宜、適合全家觀賞的音樂劇。
