不過真要說我會喜歡上這首歌, 是在電影「前進天堂In America」中演唱的這首歌, 真的是超級感動的。電影是在描寫一個愛爾蘭家庭從美加邊境偷渡到美國, 在紐約展開他們的新生活...。
無論是西部也好, 新移民也好, Desperado 描繪出美國夢的輪廓 -- 美麗而又有點不踏實。也就最好的方法就是歌曲的最後一行 "You better let somebody love you, before it's too late..."
Eagles，他們真的老了，可歌曲還是那麼精彩。齊秦、藤田惠美、平井堅、西城男孩等等許多歌手都翻唱過這首著名的《亡命之徒》，前者清新，後者流暢，只是都沒有老鷹樂隊的原唱那樣低沉、那樣感人至深。
Eagles的歌總有些迷幻一樣的比喻，當初那首同樣有名的《加州旅館》(Hotel Califonia)（點擊收聽）也是如此，有過相當的經歷才會品出些許滋味。亡命之徒，自能享受到被整個世界放逐的快樂，可你又無法真正絕望，像一個亡命之徒一樣去押最後的賭注，所以你只能傷感，把一段感情化為文字，把一段心痛化為回憶。或許，這就是那麼多的人喜歡唱這首歌、喜歡指責亡命徒的原因……
Eagles樂隊的成名作就是其第二張專輯《Desperado》（亡命之徒）。這是一張建立在鄉村樂基礎上的概念專輯，以十九世紀末美國中西部的法外之徒為概念，包括幾首他們最有名的歌曲。整張專輯大概講述這樣一個故事：1880年的美國西部，21歲的杜林-達頓（Dooling Dalton)由於誤人歧途而觸犯法律踏上吉兇未卜的征程。

Eagles樂隊的成名作就是其第二張專輯《Desperado》（亡命之徒）。這是一張建立在鄉村樂基礎上的概念專輯，以十九世紀末美國中西部的法外之徒為概念，包括幾首他們最有名的歌曲。整張專輯大概講述這樣一個故事：1880年的美國西部，21歲的杜林-達頓（Dooling Dalton)由於誤人歧途而觸犯法律踏上吉兇未卜的征程。

好懷念的歌曲。今天中午 post 了這首歌，自己一個人跑去成大旁的轉角西餐廳吃飯，竟然聽到這首歌，還是女聲的 Jazz 版。
這是第三次自己一個人來轉角了...

達斯汀霍夫曼飾演一位被解聘的電視劇演員，為了挽回女友的心，他男扮女裝參加試鏡，爭取到一個飾演老太太的角色，和也是演員的女友同台演出，沒想到這個臨時性的角色 竟然大受歡迎，女友也隱約感受到每次錄影時，這位老太太對她總是呵護倍至..........。
這是電影「窈窕淑男」( Tootsie )的劇情梗概，達斯汀霍夫曼當時的變身演出十分轟動 ，電影後來獲得多項奧斯卡提名，包括男主角、和電影主題曲等。寫作並演唱這首主題曲的 Stephen Bishop 史提芬畢夏崛起於70年代中期，曾為多位知名藝人寫曲，後來才推出個人專輯。他後來為電影「飛越蘇聯 White night」寫的" Separate lives 分居的生活 "，由菲爾柯林斯主唱，也是相當暢銷的單曲。

這是一首西洋老歌選輯不會漏掉的經典歌曲，因為這首曲子，Nilsson 尼爾森永遠不會被樂迷遺忘。
出生於 1941 年紐約市布魯克林的 Harry Nilsson 哈瑞尼爾森一直被認為是位才華洋溢的歌手，他和披頭四合唱團的四位成員均為好友，彼此惺惺相惜，互為歌迷。
尼爾森的唱腔獨樹一幟，處世卻極為低調，不喜歡製造新聞，也極少在公共場合中出現。1973 年以後，他像一位隱士般從事創作，悄悄從幕前淡出。
1971 年，尼爾森在某個派對中和朋友打牌，聽到了" Without you 失去妳 "這首歌，當時他以為是披頭四的新作，一問之下，才知道是英國搖滾團體 Badfinger 壞手指合唱團的作品。

平心而論，Badfinger 演唱的" Without you "聽來只是一首普通的失戀情歌，甚至稱不上好聽( 有興趣的朋友請到YouTube，鍵入" Badfinger "即可找到 )。尼爾森的翻唱，卻賦予這首歌全新的生命，包括和音的部分，都是尼爾森自己在錄音室配唱完成，副歌的高潮起伏尤其動人心弦，也將這首歌翻唱成一首高難度的曲子。歌曲推出之後，在英、美兩地都登上排行榜冠軍，也為尼爾森在 1973 年的葛萊美獎典禮上贏得《最佳流行男歌手》的大獎。後來許多自認為唱將的藝人都視這首歌為展現實力的炫技曲，包括島內很受歡迎的 Air Supply 空中補給合唱團，也唱過這首歌。

D小調安魂彌撒曲,作品626號，簡稱《安魂曲》，是莫扎特最後一部作品，寫於1791年。在當年7月，一位不知名人士要求他創作《安魂曲》，且必須匿名。今日我們知道是瓦爾塞根伯爵，人們猜想或許他想讓他的朋友們猜作者的名字，又或許想將著作權據為己有。因疾病和貧窮而衰弱的莫扎特，還必須面對工作的重負，因為他在八月初收到一份關於為神聖羅馬帝國皇帝利奧波德二世的加冕創作歌劇的請求（狄托的仁慈K.621），而且必須於三周內寫完。三十五歲的莫扎特於十二月辭世，留下未完成的《安魂曲》（受其妻子康絲坦茲之託，後來這首曲子由他的學生完成，Franz Xavier Süssmayer而後又由Sigismund von Neukomm接手）。Neukomm的集成版只於1819年在里約熱內盧演奏，之後就被人們忘記了。第二次演奏於2006年3月10日在Liévin為紀念Courrières礦難而進行。
